How notifications work

Renner emails members about activity that concerns them: applications, task updates, messages, released payments, and reviews. Each can be chosen in Settings, where push to a device can also be turned on.

A task alert is sent when a task is posted to the network within 50 miles of the member, or in an area they have added. It reaches members whose primary reason for joining was completing tasks, and members who have added areas, and it can be turned off under Notifications.

Some can't be turned off: invitations, booking confirmations, cancellations, task changes, and disputes.
