Companies

A company is a name, a payment method, and the members who post for it. It is created in Settings. A company has no profile and cannot be booked. It names who a task is for and whose card pays, and nothing else.

Creating one asks for the company's legal name, the name members read on its tasks, and an address at the company's own domain. The member creating it confirms they are authorized to act for the company. A code sent to that address confirms the company. Until it is confirmed the company works in full, and its name is shown nowhere: its tasks appear under the member who posted them.

Every member at a company can post for it and pay with its card. Adding and removing members is held by whoever created it and can be given to anyone else there. A member who can receive mail at the company's domain can claim that back at any time, so a company is never left without someone to manage it.

With a company, posting offers a choice of who the task is for: you, or the company. Choosing the company charges its card, and the task states that it was posted for the company. Payment is charged and held at booking and released when the task is complete, as on any task.

The member who posts is the member on the task. Messages and reviews are theirs, and a member is always paid personally. The company holds the tasks posted for it and the record of what was spent.

A member who leaves a company loses its card, its roster, and the ability to post for it. The tasks they posted stay with the company. Their earnings and their reviews stay with them.
