Areas

Areas are added in Settings → Areas: a neighborhood, a city, or a county, each with an optional travel radius. Changes take effect immediately, and applications and bookings already held aren't affected.

Task invitations follow the member's areas. With no areas added, a member cannot receive invitations. Task alerts are separate: they reach a member within 50 miles of a posted task whether or not areas are added, and an added area also carries alerts for tasks in it.

Added areas also appear in Feed's Areas filter for one-tap browsing.
